Vishva M. Dixit is a member of the National Academy of Sciences, National Academy of Medicine, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and a Foreign Member of Royal Society (ForMemRS), Foreign Member of The Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences as well as Foreign Member of the European Molecular Biology Organization. Besides his role at Genentech, he serves on the scientific advisory board of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and the Gates Foundation.
