Bio: Keum (PhD, 1988, University of Michigan) is professor, Korea Institute for Advanced Study; President, Korean Mathematical Society (Jan 2019-Dec 2022). He was President, Korea Institute for Advanced Study. Also member of : Steering Committee of Pacific Rim Math Association (PRIMA); National Committee for Promotion of Basic Research; the Presidium of Postech; the Selection and Evaluation Committee, Institute for Basic Science (IBS); the ICM 2014 Program Committee, International Mathematical Union (IMU); Advisory Board member of Samsung Science and Technology Foundation (SSTF). His prizes include Medal in Basic Science 2018, National Academy of Sciences; Academic Award 2013, Korean Mathematical Society; Korea Science Prize 2008. He is a member of the Korean Academy of Science and Technology (KAST).
