Annual Conference

The AYSF Annual Conference showcases the achievements of the annually selected twelve AYS Fellows, promotes interdisciplinary and international exchange to foster innovation and collaboration. The conference also brings together AYSF Committee members, donors, and distinguished guests from academia, industry, and business, creating a platform to facilitate dialogue on strengthening collaboration between science, technology, and the broader global community.

Sino Inno Lab @Hong Kong

During the 2024 AYSF Annual Conference, we hosted an exchange event at Sino Inno Lab.

AYS Fellows and AYSF Committee Members visited Sino Inno Lab of Sino Group, where the Director of Innovation and R&D introduced a range of innovative building technology projects and shared insights into the Group's approach to research and innovation.

The event provided Fellows with valuable opportunities to engage with leading researchers, exchange ideas with peers, and gain practical insights into building and leading a research career.

Future Science Forum @ Singapore

On 5 November 2024, AYSF held its inaugural Future Science Forum in Singapore, jointly organised by Future Science Ltd and the AI Institute of the National University of Singapore.

A dedicated session, Transformative Technologies, featured presentations by 2023 and 2024 AYS Fellows—Dr. Reza Shokri, Dr. Ziwei Liu, Dr. Daishi Fujita and Dr. Wei Wu—who shared their latest research in areas including data privacy, artificial intelligence, mixed reality and cancer therapeutics.

The Forum highlighted AYSF's role in fostering international scientific collaboration and cross-disciplinary exchange.

Exploring New Frontiers Forum@Shanghai

On 21 March 2025, AYSF held its inaugural Frontiers in Science Exchange in Shanghai.

The event brought together AYS Fellows, Board Members of Future Forum, and representatives from organisations including Shanghai State-owned Capital Investment Ltd. and Bank of Communications. Participants visited the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility and ShanghaiTech University, before gathering at the Tsung-Dao Lee Institute for discussions on the future development of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.

The event not only promoted academic exchange, but also strengthened connections among the scientific, industrial, and financial communities, highlighting AYSF's role in fostering cross-sector collaboration.
