We welcome all the candidates for the Asian Young Scientist Fellowship 2022!

Candidates are required to submit a full application to be reviewed by the Selection Committee as part of the Selection Process. You can check the instruction below to understand the materials in the application. Please register on our application portal and click "Apply" to start an application.

*Please note that only candidates who are nominated and received an invitation could apply for the Asian Young Scientist Fellowship.

 

Application Material

Please submit a full application through the application portal including the materials listed below. All materials should be written and submitted in English.

1) CV

  • Your CV should include education, positions held, publications and research grants received (no more than 5 pages in a standard format).

  • The file name should follow this format: your first name_last name_CV.pdf.

2) Research statement (including your past and future research) 

  • The Research Statement should be submitted in one PDF file, including past research (less than 1000 words) and future research plan (less than 1000 words).

  • The file name should follow this format: your first name_last name_RS.pdf.

3) Three letters of recommendation (must be submitted separately by the recommender)

  • You are allowed to ask your nominator to be one of the recommenders.

  • We suggest that you can invite your graduate school advisor, postdoctoral advisor, or other scientists who are familiar with your scientific work to be your recommender.

  • To monitor the status of the recommendation submission, you could log into your account.

 

Deadline

The Application submission deadline is September 15th, 2022 (17:00 GMT+8). 

The Letters of Recommendation submission deadline is September 30th, 2022 (17:00 GMT+8).

After receiving your full application, our selection committee will carefully review your candidacy for the Asian Young Scientist Fellowship. The Fellowship recipients will be announced by the end of 2022.
