Raghuvansh Saxena, Ph.D.

2026 AYS Fellow - Maths&CS

Assistant Professor, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research

Research Area: Communication Complexity, Mechanism Design, Graph Streaming, Complexity Theory.

Award Citation:The AYSF Committee recognizes Dr. Raghuvansh Saxena’s ground-breaking contributions to determining the maximum error resilience of interactive communication, including the introduction of two-way codes. AYSF would like to support his vision to establish a comprehensive theory of error correction for interactive and quantum communication.

Bio: Raghuvansh R. Saxena is a faculty member at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research. His broad research interests lie in theoretical computer science, particularly in developing new complexity-theoretic tools for emerging problems across several areas of computing, including interactive coding, sublinear algorithms, and mechanism design. His work is motivated by the search for efficient and practical solutions to modern computational problems. He received his Ph.D. from Princeton University in 2021 and his bachelor’s degree from IIT Delhi in 2016.
