Jialun Li, Ph.D.

2026 AYS Fellow - Maths&CS

Associate Professor, Fudan University

Research Area: Ergodic Theory, Dynamical Systems, Harmonic Analysis, Random Walks on Lie Groups, Homogeneous Dynamics.

Award Citation: The AYSF Committee recognizes Dr. Jialun Li's excellent work in the areas of dynamical systems, fractal geometry, and harmonic analysis. AYSF would like to support his planned use of an entropy perspective to tackle problems in fractal geometry associated to smooth, as well p-adic, dynamical systems.

Bio: Jialun Li is an Associate Professor in the School of Mathematical Sciences at Fudan University, where he has been a faculty member since 2025. He received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Université de Bordeaux under the supervision of Jean-François Quint. His research covers a broad range of topics in dynamical systems, including the Fourier decay of fractal measures, the exponential mixing of geodesic flows, and, more recently, the dimension theory of dynamically defined fractal sets.
